Privacy Policy (GDPR) - Nutrya

Nutrya is committed to ensuring that the collection and processing of your data comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Collected Data

We collect data necessary to monitor your health and improve your experience:

Identity & Connection: Email address, username. Supported login methods: Email/Password, Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In.

Health & Morphology Data: Weight, height, age, sex, basal metabolic rate (BMR) and personal goals.

Full Nutritional Journal:
- Macros: Protein, carbohydrates, lipids, calories.
- Micros: Fiber, vitamins, minerals and other detailed nutrients according to available data.

Health Sync: With your consent, Nutrya can read and write data from Apple Health (iOS) and Google Fit (Android) (weight, steps, calories burned).

Multimodal Data:
- Meal Photos & Voice: Used for nutritional analysis. We may use these images in an anonymized and aggregated way to improve our AI models and the accuracy of estimates.
- Progress/Weigh-in Photos: These photos are strictly private. They are never used for training our AI models.

2. Processing Purposes

Your data is processed to:

• Calculate your personalized needs and potential micro-nutrient deficiencies.
• Improve the accuracy of our visual recognition algorithms (for meal photos only).
• Synchronize your physical activity with your calorie balance.
• Manage your subscriptions via RevenueCat.

3. Third-party Services

Hosting: Firebase (Google Cloud).

Payment: RevenueCat and official stores (App Store / Google Play). No banking data is stored by Nutrya.

AI Analysis: OpenAI / Google AI in a secure and ephemeral manner.

4. Security and Access

Your data is protected by rigorous technical measures (TLS encryption, Firestore security rules). Access to data by the administrator is strictly limited for technical maintenance and user support purposes.

5. Retention and Right to be Forgotten

Retention: Your data is kept as long as your account is active.

Deletion: You can delete your account at any time from the app settings. This action triggers the automatic and permanent deletion of all your personal data (meals, weight, health information).

6. Protection of Minors

The Nutrya application is not intended for children under 15 (digital majority age in France). We do not knowingly collect data from minors without parental authorization.

7. Your Rights

8. Data Processing by Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Nutrya uses advanced artificial intelligence technologies (including Google Gemini) to analyze your meals. This processing includes :

• Multimodal Analysis: Your photos, texts, and voice messages are processed to extract nutritional information.
• Confidentiality: This data is processed in a secure and ephemeral manner by our AI partners.
• Usage Quotas: To ensure service quality and prevent abuse, daily and monthly limits apply :
  • Photos: 20 analyses per day.
  • Text: 50 analyses per day.
  • Voice: 20 analyses per day.
  • Recipe Generation: 30 recipes per month.
• Quotas are reset daily (or monthly for recipes) at midnight UTC.
